Hogle Zoo with Mrs. Bill's 2nd Grade Class of Wild Animals...

Year-end field trips are in abundance around here...I cannot believe this school year is coming to an end. Ashlyn and Colt will have 2 weeks off for summer vacation then it's time for the new school year to begin. Luckily they have 'C' track this year, so they will only go on for two weeks, then off for the month of August. Kenna will start jr. high in August and Wyatt will start his first year of preschool in September...where has the time gone?? Where have all my babies gone??
Today Wyatt and I spent the day at Hogle Zoo with Colt's 2nd grade class and some of my friends, too, Diane and Jodi. Wyatt got to tag along because our cute neighbor and friend, Mandy, came along with her mom, Jodi, to help...she is so good to Wyatt even though he can be a huge stinker.
Colt loved the bird show because they showcased the bird he reported on for his 2n grade animal report...the Golden Eagle and he thought that was pretty cool! After the show he got his picture taken with the Golden Eagle. It was a great day with great friends!Luckily the train was up and running this time...and all he wanted was for Diane to sit by him. She suffered through the hot smoke that came from the front engine and made Wyatt's day!
