Saturday we spent the day working together in the yard and also cleaning the whole house, then we played all night...a little miniature golf and then we watched the Syracuse fireworks at Jensen Park. McKenna spent the night with a bunch of her friends and also ended up at the fireworks show, so Ashlyn invited her cute friend, Brinley, to tag along with us. I miss our weekend nights in when the kids were little and we could snuggle all together and everyone would be happy eating popcorn and watching a movie together. Now, the girls are out most weekends at late nights...and the boys are usually home with their buddies over for their own late nights. I can't complain...life is good!After fireworks we drove to Walmart for the newest craze among the kids and their friends...rubber band animal bracelets. The kids each picked out their own bag and traded with each other as soon as we got home.
