Wednesday night after dance, grandma Sill came to pick up Ashlyn for a sleepover. Being off track has it's perks and one of them is spending one-on-one time with grandma. Grandpa, grandma and Ashlyn played Blockus all night long. I called to say good-night and grandpa said he couldn't win against grandma and Ashlyn. Ashlyn loves playing games and has a good little mind for strategy.Thursday she ran errands with grandma, even went to the doctors with grandma so grandma could have some warts removed...a few minutes after the doctor came in to remove the warts grandma looked at Ashlyn and said "are you alright?" Ashlyn told me she was a little queasy watching. Grandma taught her to knit and then took her to Michaels to pick out some yarn to make her own scarf...she showed it to me and wow, I'm impressed! They ate lunch at Iggy's and had a great time together. Last night when dad came home from work, he said grandpa had come into his office to talk to him and told dad how impressed he was with Ashlyn...how precious she is and how much they love her. Such a fun time for all of them!
