Boondoggle...

Ashlyn is great at coming up with ideas and finding ways to make her ideas come to life. She needed to come up with something to sell at her 4th grade rendezvous...something she had made herself. We thought about hair flowers and magnets, but all by herself, Ashlyn decided to do something different. She found a container in the craft cupboard full of boondoggle (that has probably been there for years) and remembering how grandma Nichol once showed her how to make little key chains, she quickly began making boondoggle key chains to sell. What a smartie!
Ashlyn enlisted the help of her dad, who is the master of tying flies and especially tying tiny knots, to help her finish the ends of the boondoggle. They were definitely a hit with her friends!
