Saturday was a busy day, beginning early with a call over to grandma and grandpa Sill's to wish Colter happy birthday and then over to pick him up and on our way to an Easter egg hunt and brunch that my aunt Joan and uncle Jim host in their backyard every year. This year the weather barely cooperated...the sun was shining, but it was cold. McKenna and the older girls were in charge of hiding the eggs and all the toys, so McKenna secretly put a few of the toys far off by the creek that runs behind their home so she could lead Wyatt right to them before any of the other kids could find them...sneaky girl!!Grandma Nichol even made cupcakes to celebrate Colt's 8th birthday...just the beginning of celebrations for the day!
