Happy 8th Birthday Champ...

Wednesday a bunch of Colt's friends were over to hang out...one of them told me he was so excited for the BBQ Colter was having for his birthday on Saturday. What?! I turned to Colt and asked him about an upcoming BBQ. He just smiled at me and then more friends joined in and said they couldn't wait to come and play football and that the teams were already decided.

Earlier in February when Garrett took Colt on his first pheasant hunt for his 8th birthday...something Colt has been dying to do...we decided that would be in place of a party this year...apparently not! We quickly got invitations out and arranged for a BBQ and football party for Saturday night, hoping the weather would cooperate and not snow (again)...we could not disappoint!

The party was a huge success and even grandmas and grandpas stopped by for some dinner and fun. Colt got his scriptures and camo case from grandma and grandpa Nichol and his scout shirt, belt, patches and handkerchief from grandma and grandpa Sill.
