Friday morning grandpa Sill came to take Garrett to work so I could pick him up after work for our date night in Park City. While grandpa was talking to Colt about his birthday on Saturday, he invited him to have a special birthday sleepover. Grandma had a Relief Society meeting all night and grandpa needed a buddy to watch the Jazz game with him. Colt was so excited, but nervous about not being home to have his traditional breakfast in bed...we assured him we could still do that on Sunday, but he would probably get his favorite breakfast that grandpa makes - Swedish pancakes!
Grandpa and Colt ate burgers at Crown Burger, then settled in for some basketball and I'm sure some kind of dessert (this kid is just like his grandpa Sill...always wondering what he's going to be eating next). They were up early to make Swedish pancakes and then over to clean the church. He had a great time...Wyatt cried a little when grandpa came to pick him up and kept saying "grandpa didn't take me!" His birthday is coming up in April and he's already looking forward to his own little date night with grandma and grandpa.
