Colt and Seth with their new neckerchiefs and books to advance to the Bear Den. These past few months, Colt's been busy passing off arrow points and working on his Faith in God. He also finished all the requirements to recieve his Religious Knot before turning 9 and moving into the Bear Den. He loved working on this award because it involved fishing with his dad and spending a day bird watching with Bishop Burton. I'm impressed with his drive to get as many arrow points as possible before he turns 9...by his birthday he earned his gold arrow and 11 silver arrows. Pretty impressive, Colt! Everyday he reminds me that I've still got to sew on the last 5 arrows before next pack meeting. He's now anxious to being working on earning his Bear...if he can stop thinking about collecting Legos long enough to work on anything else. :)
