This is a picture from McKenna's last practice with Matt and her U11 team before soccer try-outs. Dance and soccer try-outs always make for anxious girls and a nervous mom!
McKenna did great at try-outs...giving it her all. I don't know how the coaches divide up 50 girls after watching them play for only a few hours at a time. Most of us moms had hoped the team would pretty much stay together with a few new additions and that's exactly what happened. We knew Matt wouldn't be the girls' coach and McKenna was pretty sad about that - she and Matt had a great connection...but we're excited to meet her new coach and see what this year brings. Tanisha and I are the designated party moms and already have in mind some great get-togethers for the girls...including more girls weekends in Midway :)
