Diane, JaQuoy and I tagged along on the kids' 4th grade fieldtrip. Getting off the freeway and driving up 6th north to This is the Place, the kids noticed a bus behind us, we figured that was the bus with the rest of the 4th graders on it, so Diane pulled over to let the bus pass so we could follow...we were busy talking and laughing and Diane kept on following the bus. All was good until I noticed we were heading into Red Butte Gardens, right behind the bus...aaah, it must have been another school group going to the gardens. We laughed like crazy and quickly did a U-turn and made our way to This is the Place. The kids pulled handcarts, learned about school during the 1800's, learned to dance the Virginia Reel and ate lunch.
