Wyatt and I spent Thursday afternoon at the Utah Arts Festival with my mom, my grandma and Whitney and her boys. The boys all made toucan masks at the Tracy Aviary booth and mom got some great ideas for third grade art projects for the new adventure she's taking on this next school year as a third grade teacher. We enjoyed beautiful paintings, sculptures and photographs.
My mom, grandma, Whitney and I love to people watch and today downtown Salt Lake offered some great people-watching...we were not disappointed!
We kept cool in the heat with squirt bottles and sorbet. It was a great afternoon get-together. Garrett left this morning for Youth Conference and spent the day running the river. But, before heading out, he took Wyatt out for a slurpee...nothing better than a slurpee at 8:00 in the morning!
