Saturday we spent an hour and a half in the pouring rain for a great cause...Jaxon's baseball game...and we loved every minute of it! Ashlyn and her cute friend, Maggie, cheered him on and even yelled a few "whoo hoos." Jaxon is an awesome pitcher, even when the ball is completely soaked, plus, he's a great hitter and base stealer, and he has the cutest smile!

In the end, the game was called because the field was looking more like a swimming pool than a baseball field, but we had an awesome time!Jaxon is always looking out for others...a while back, I remember Ashlyn telling me that after a school reading party, Jaxon carried her pillow all the way home for her...what a true friend! While watching Jaxon play, Garrett kept showing Colt how Jaxon would hold the bat, hit the ball and run like lightening to steal the bases...Colter really looks up to Jax, too - thanks, 'twos' for being such a great example in all you do! He even ran up during the game so I could get this quick picture of him with Ashlyn, Maggie and Colt. We can't wait to come watch you play again, buddy!
Alisa, Jaxon's mom, Ashlyn and Maggie sat under Alisa's huge umbrella and kept pretty dry...theses girls braved pouring rain, cold and even wet little bums to watch Jaxon play - according to Ashlyn it was well worth it...maybe not so much for Maggie!
I can rarely get Garrett to give me a nice smile - he is such a goof!
